- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix self-rising flour and sugar in a large bowl.
- Stir in beer just until combined; do not overmix.
- Transfer batter to prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Notes
Use any beer you like; lighter beers create a mild flavor while darker beers add richness.
