Ingredients
  

Main Casserole
  • 3 cups cooked chicken breast shredded or cubed
  • 3 cups cooked pasta penne or rotini
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, pasta, marinara sauce, and half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  3. Transfer to baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs, olive oil, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Top casserole with remaining cheese and breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes, garnish with basil, and serve.
