- In a mixing bowl, combine beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and parsley. Shape into 6–8 patties.
- Brown patties in a skillet, 2–3 minutes per side, then transfer to baking dish.
- In the same skillet, cook mushrooms in butter until tender, 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over mushrooms, stir 1–2 minutes, then whisk in broth until smooth. Simmer 5 minutes to thicken.
- Pour mushroom gravy over patties. Top with cheese.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes covered, then 10 minutes uncovered until cheese melts.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
