  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
Crumb Topping
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
Cinnamon Apple Drizzle
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider or milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk dry ingredients together in one bowl; cream butter and sugar in another.
  3. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and sour cream, then fold in apples.
  4. Pour batter into pan and top with crumb mixture.
  5. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
  6. Cool slightly and drizzle with cinnamon apple glaze.
