- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mash avocado until smooth, then mix in sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients alternately with milk, stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips, spoon batter into muffin cups, and top with extra chips.
- Bake 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool and serve.
