Ingredients
  

Ceviche
  • 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined chopped
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • 0.5 English cucumber, diced
  • 0.33 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, finely diced
  • 0.5 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Citrus juicer
  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife

Method
 

  1. Combine raw chopped shrimp with lime and lemon juice and marinate until opaque, 30-60 minutes.
  2. Add tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and optional olive oil.
  4. Fold in avocado gently.
  5. Chill 10–15 minutes and serve with tortilla chips or tostadas.

Notes

Add avocado just before serving for best texture.
