Ingredients
  

Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 jalapeños seeded and chopped
  • 6 strips bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
Assembly
  • 12 eggroll wrappers
  • water for sealing
  • oil for frying vegetable or canola

Method
 

  1. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, bacon, and spices in a bowl.
  2. Spoon filling into eggroll wrappers, fold and seal with water.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry until golden, about 2–3 minutes per side.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve hot with dipping sauce.
