Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 slices bacon thin-cut recommended
Garlic Parmesan Butter
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Basting brush

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
  2. Mix softened butter, garlic, parmesan, and seasonings in a bowl.
  3. Brush chicken breasts with olive oil and coat with garlic parmesan butter.
  4. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 slices of bacon.
  5. Place on rack and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Broil 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add lemon zest or red pepper flakes to the garlic butter. Best served hot from the oven.
