Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3–4 minutes, then shock in ice water. Drain well.
- Toss beans with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and brown sugar (if using).
- Divide beans into bundles (6–8 beans each). Wrap each with a slice of bacon and place seam-side down on baking sheet.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until bacon is crispy and beans are tender.
- Remove from oven, garnish with thyme or parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
Best served fresh, but can be prepped ahead and refrigerated before baking.
