  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 yellow onions thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese shredded
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

  1. Caramelize onions in butter and olive oil until golden.
  2. Add garlic, thyme, and broth; simmer briefly.
