- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a donut pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Mix in the egg, milk, and vanilla.
- Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
- Pipe or spoon batter into donut pan, filling 2/3 full.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until donuts spring back when touched.
- Cool slightly, then brush donuts with melted butter and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.
Notes
For best results, coat donuts while still slightly warm so the cinnamon sugar sticks perfectly.
