- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or grease.
- Mash bananas and combine with melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gently mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips and divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
- Mix streusel ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle on top of muffins.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.

Store muffins in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days or freeze for up to a month.
