Ingredients
  

BBQ Chicken
  • 3 cups cooked shredded chicken rotisserie recommended
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
Tangy Coleslaw
  • 3 cups shredded green cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage optional
  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • salt and black pepper to taste

  • 12 slider buns Hawaiian or brioche
  • 2 tbsp melted butter for brushing
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, combine chicken, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper. Heat until warm and coated.
  3. In a bowl, whisk mayo, vinegar, honey, mustard, salt, and pepper. Add cabbage and carrot. Toss well.
  4. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on a baking tray.
  5. Spread BBQ chicken evenly across the buns and top with coleslaw.
  6. Place bun tops, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  7. Cover loosely with foil and bake 10–12 minutes until warm and lightly toasted.
  8. Slice and serve with extra coleslaw or pickles.
