Ingredients
  

Beef Filling
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika
Assembly
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella or Monterey Jack
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
  2. Brown ground beef and drain excess fat.
  3. Add tomato sauce and spices; simmer until thick.
  4. Fill tortillas with beef and cheese, roll tightly, and toast if desired.

These burritos freeze well and are perfect for make-ahead meals.
