Ingredients
  

Peanut Butter Layer
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
Chocolate Topping
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter for melting with chocolate

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Beat softened butter and peanut butter together until smooth.
  3. Add powdered sugar gradually, then mix in vanilla and salt.
  4. Spread peanut butter mixture into the prepared pan.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and butter until smooth, then pour over peanut layer.
  6. Refrigerate for 2 hours until fully set.
  7. Lift bars out, slice with a warm knife, and serve.

Notes

For clean slices, warm your knife under hot water between cuts.
