- Trim excess fat and pierce pork shoulder.
- Rub with salt and drizzle liquid smoke.
- Place in slow cooker and cook on low for 8–10 hours.
- Shred pork and return to juices.
- Add cabbage and cook 20–30 minutes.
- Serve warm.

For best flavor, cook low and slow. Great for meal prep.
