Ingredients
  

Lavender Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp dried culinary lavender
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar adjust to taste
Mocktail Base
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 leaves fresh basil
  • 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups ice

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Muddler
  • Pitcher or mixing glass

Method
 

  1. Simmer water and lavender, then steep for 10 minutes and strain.
  2. Stir sweetener into warm lavender liquid and cool completely.
  3. Muddle blueberries and basil gently to release juices.
  4. Add lemon juice and lavender syrup, then stir well.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish as desired.

Notes

Use culinary lavender only and adjust sweetness to taste.
