Ingredients
  

Brittle
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and chopped

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Cook sugar, corn syrup, and water until amber.
  2. Stir in butter, bacon, and bourbon.
  3. Add vanilla and baking soda off heat.
  4. Spread onto baking sheet and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Cool completely and break into pieces.

Notes

Work quickly once baking soda is added.
