Bread with Chicken and Nachos
  • 4 slices bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1.5 cups nacho chips, crushed
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.25 cup salsa or enchilada sauce
  • 1 small jalapeño, sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter or mayonnaise
  • 0.25 tsp smoked paprika
  • 0.25 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh cilantro, chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread butter or mayonnaise on bread slices and arrange on baking sheet.
  3. Mix shredded chicken with spices, salt, pepper, and salsa.
  4. Top bread with chicken mixture and crushed nachos.
  5. Sprinkle cheese and jalapeños on top.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
