Casserole Base
  • 2 cans refrigerated biscuit dough cut into quarters
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup cooked Italian sausage crumbled
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and place in a mixing bowl.
  3. Toss biscuit pieces with pizza sauce and half the cheese.
  4. Add toppings and seasonings; mix gently.
  5. Transfer mixture to baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered until biscuits are cooked and cheese is golden.
