- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare loaf pan.
- Toast pecans and let cool.
- Whisk dry ingredients together.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk.
- Fold in pecans.
- Bake 55–65 minutes until done.
Notes
Toast pecans for best flavor. Do not overmix batter.
