Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese cubes 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg large
  • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce plus extra for glaze
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 12 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and set a wire rack over a foil-lined baking sheet.
  2. Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form balls with cheddar cubes inside.
  4. Wrap each ball in a bacon strip and secure with a toothpick.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bacon is browned.
  6. Brush with BBQ sauce and bake 5–10 more minutes.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
