Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
- Unroll second can of dough and place on top of the filling.
- Pour melted butter over top, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool for 15 minutes before slicing; drizzle with honey if desired.
Notes
This casserole tastes even better the next day after chilling overnight. Perfect for brunches or dessert spreads.
