Pasta
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
Meat Sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
Cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.75 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Cook tortellini until al dente and drain.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
  3. Stir in marinara and seasonings and simmer.
  4. Combine tortellini with meat sauce.
  5. Layer with cheese and bake until bubbly.
