Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 12 oz short pasta cooked al dente
  • 2 cups cooked ham diced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta until al dente and drain.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan and whisk in flour.
  4. Slowly whisk in milk and cook until thickened.
  5. Season sauce and stir in cheeses until melted.
  6. Combine pasta, ham, peas, and cheese sauce.
  7. Transfer to baking dish and bake until bubbly.

Notes

Perfect for using leftover ham. Add breadcrumbs on top for extra crunch.
