Ingredients
  

Cauliflower Steak
  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.75 cup shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim cauliflower and slice vertically into thick steaks.
  3. Place steaks on baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil.
  4. Season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and tender.
  6. Top with shredded cheese and return to oven until melted.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with herbs if desired.

Notes

Use a sharp knife and keep the core intact for sturdy steaks.
