Ingredients
  

Main Dish
  • 14 oz smoked sausage sliced
  • 1 1/2 lb baby potatoes halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 cup onion sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Equipment

  • Baking dish or sheet pan
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Knife

Method
 

  1. Toss potatoes with oil, butter, and seasonings and bake until nearly tender.
  2. Add sausage, onion, and garlic and continue baking.
  3. Top with cheese and bake until melted and bubbly.
  4. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

For crispier potatoes, spread in a single layer.
