Ingredients
  

Cherry Syrup
  • 1 cup cherries pitted
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 0.33 cup sugar
Milk Tea
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 0.75 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp cherry syrup

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Fine sieve
  • Teapot or mug
  • Glass or cup

Method
 

  1. Simmer cherries, water, and sugar for 8–10 minutes. Strain and cool.
  2. Steep Earl Grey tea in hot water for 4–5 minutes.
  3. Stir cherry syrup into tea.
  4. Add milk and serve hot or over ice.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to taste. Store cherry syrup refrigerated up to one week.
