Ingredients
  

Chocolate Cake
  • 4 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Creamy Filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Chocolate Ganache
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chopped
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

Equipment

  • Jelly roll pan
  • Electric mixer
  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Bake chocolate sponge cake in a lined jelly roll pan.
  2. Roll warm cake in a towel and cool completely.
  3. Prepare creamy filling and spread over cake.
  4. Re-roll cake and coat with chocolate ganache.

Chill briefly before slicing for clean presentation.
