- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, and butter for the swirl; set aside.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk buttermilk, melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour half batter into pan, add half cinnamon mixture, top with remaining batter and swirl with a knife.
- Bake 45–50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan, and drizzle with glaze if desired.

Perfect toasted with butter or turned into cinnamon French toast.
