Deviled Egg Ingredients
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar or lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • paprika for garnish
  • chives or parsley optional garnish

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Hand mixer or stand mixer

Method
 

  1. Boil eggs and place in ice bath until cool.
  2. Peel eggs and slice in half lengthwise.
  3. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pipe yolk mixture into egg whites.
  5. Garnish with paprika and herbs.
  6. Chill until ready to serve.
