Ingredients
  

Fudge Base
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chopped
  • 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate chopped
  • 7 ounces marshmallow creme
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Equipment

  • Heavy-bottom saucepan
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • 8x8-inch baking pan

Method
 

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cook sugar, cream, butter, and salt until boiling and slightly thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in chocolates until melted.
  4. Add marshmallow creme and vanilla; stir until smooth.
  5. Pour into pan, smooth top, and cool until set.

Notes

For the smoothest texture, avoid overcooking the sugar mixture.
