Ingredients
  

Bread Dough
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2.25 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water 110°F
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
Topping
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 0.5 tsp dried parsley
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted for brushing

Method
 

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let stand until foamy.
  2. Add olive oil, salt, and flour to form a dough.
  3. Knead 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let rise 45–60 minutes until doubled.
  5. Shape into two loaves and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cheese and herbs.
  7. Let rise 20–25 minutes until puffy.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
  9. Cool 10 minutes before slicing.
