Ingredients
  

Biscuit Dough
  • 2 cups biscuit mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk or buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
Crab Filling
  • 8 oz lump crab meat drained
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Lemon Butter Sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juice and zest
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley chopped

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix crab filling ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  3. Prepare biscuit dough by mixing dry ingredients and cutting in butter until crumbly.
  4. Add milk and stir gently to form soft dough.
  5. Form biscuits by flattening dough, adding crab filling, and sealing edges.
  6. Bake 14–16 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Melt butter with garlic, lemon juice, and zest for sauce; add parsley and brush over warm biscuits.

Notes

Serve warm with extra lemon butter sauce for dipping.
