Ingredients
  

Cheddar Bay Biscuits
  • 1 box Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix with seasoning packet
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/3 cup water
Crab Filling
  • 8 oz lump crab meat
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
Lemon Butter
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp parsley finely chopped

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Combine biscuit mix, seasoning packet, cheddar, and water to form dough.
  2. Mix cream cheese, crab, mayo, lemon juice, zest, Old Bay, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Flatten dough portions, fill with crab mixture, and seal into balls.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 12–14 minutes.
  5. Mix melted butter with lemon juice, zest, garlic powder, and parsley.
  6. Brush biscuits with lemon butter and serve warm.

Notes

Chill crab filling for easier assembly and use lump crab for best texture.
