- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan or loaf pans.
- Cream together butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
- Gradually add sugar and beat until light and airy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just combined.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 75–85 minutes.
- Cool 15 minutes in pan, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar or glaze before serving.
