Ingredients
  

Chicken & Seasoning
  • 2 large chicken breasts halved horizontally
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Pasta & Add-ins
  • 8 oz twisted pasta (rotini, gemelli, or fusilli)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or fontina
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente, reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Sear chicken in olive oil over medium heat for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  4. Melt butter in skillet, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Add broth and cream, scraping up browned bits.
  6. Stir in Parmesan and Italian seasoning, simmer until creamy.
  7. Add pasta and mozzarella, tossing until coated. Add pasta water as needed.
  8. Slice chicken, add to skillet, spoon sauce over, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest sauce. Add a squeeze of lemon for brightness.
