Creamy Oven Baked Chicken Thighs
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley for garnish

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
  3. Sear chicken skin-side down until golden; flip and cook briefly.
  4. Melt butter in skillet; sauté garlic. Add broth, cream, Parmesan, seasonings, and Dijon.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and spoon sauce on top.
  6. Bake 30–35 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Best served with mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta to soak up the creamy sauce.
