Ingredients
  

Pasta & Sauce
  • 8 oz pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1.5 cups pepper jack cheese shredded
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne optional
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta and reserve pasta water.
  2. Sauté garlic in butter.
  3. Add flour to make a roux.
  4. Whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth.
  5. Melt in pepper jack cheese.
  6. Season with smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
  7. Toss pasta in sauce and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For extra spice, use habanero jack cheese or add hot sauce.
