- Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
- Sear chicken in olive oil and butter until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Caramelize onions in the same skillet until soft and golden.
- Add garlic and flour, stir to combine, and cook briefly.
- Whisk in chicken broth, then stir in sour cream and heavy cream until smooth.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with parsley and chives, then serve warm.
Notes
Avoid high heat after adding sour cream to prevent curdling. Serve with mashed potatoes or buttered noodles.
