  • 2 lb chicken wings split into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tbsp baking powder aluminum-free
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp smoked paprika optional
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Optional Sauce
  • Buffalo, BBQ, or honey garlic sauce for tossing

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  3. Toss wings with baking powder, salt, garlic powder, pepper, paprika, and olive oil until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange wings on wire rack in a single layer.
  5. Bake 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
  6. Toss with sauce of choice or serve plain with dip.

Notes

For extra crunch, broil wings for 3–4 minutes at the end. Serve with celery and ranch or blue cheese dip.
