Ingredients
  

Taco Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 0.5 cup tomato sauce
Assembly
  • 10 hard taco shells
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing shells
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce for topping
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes for topping
  • 0.5 cup sour cream for topping
  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil, then brown the ground beef.
  3. Add taco seasoning and tomato sauce; simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Arrange taco shells upright and fill with beef mixture and cheese.
  5. Brush shells lightly with olive oil and bake 8–10 minutes until crispy.
  6. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cilantro before serving.

Notes

For best crispiness, serve immediately after baking. Reheat leftovers in an air fryer.
