Method
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness and cut into sandwich-size portions.
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
- Prepare breading stations: flour with spices, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs.
- Coat chicken in flour, dip in egg, and press into breadcrumbs.
- Fry chicken in hot oil (350°F/175°C) for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- Toast buns and spread Caesar dressing. Layer lettuce, crispy chicken, parmesan, and optional toppings. Add more dressing if desired.
- Serve warm with fries or salad.
Notes
For a lighter version, bake breaded chicken at 400°F for 20–25 minutes. Add bacon or tomato slices for extra flavor.
