Ingredients
  

Cranberry Butter
  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 3 cups apples peeled and chopped
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

Equipment

  • Immersion blender
  • Measuring cups
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients except vanilla to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook until fruit is very soft.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla and continue cooking uncovered to thicken.
  5. Cool and store.

Notes

Butter thickens significantly as it cools.
