Method
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Combine heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, and butter in crock pot. Stir to combine.
- Add chicken to sauce, ensuring it is coated.
- Cover and cook on Low for 240–300 minutes or High for 120–180 minutes, until chicken is tender.
- Remove chicken, whisk sauce, then return chicken and spoon sauce over top.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
Notes
For richer flavor, add a splash of white wine to the sauce. Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
