- Slice potatoes thinly.
- Make roux with butter and flour, then whisk in cream and broth.
- Add seasonings and thicken sauce slightly.
- Layer potatoes, ham, onions, cheese, and sauce in crock pot.
- Cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
- Serve warm with parsley.
Notes
Yukon gold potatoes provide the best texture.
