Method
- Brown beef in a skillet and drain fat.
- Cook onion and garlic until softened.
- Add beef mixture to crockpot.
- Add beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, broth, and spices.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Adjust seasoning and serve hot.
Notes
Flavor deepens over time — even better the next day. Freezes well.
