Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla extract.
- Mix in mashed bananas until combined.
- Add dry ingredients gradually, mixing just until combined.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until set and lightly golden. Cool completely.
- Beat glaze ingredients until smooth and drizzle over cooled cookies.
Notes
Do not overbake for best soft texture.
