Pasta
  • 12 oz fettuccine
Sauce
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper freshly ground

Method
 

  1. Cook fettuccine until al dente and reserve pasta water.
  2. Melt butter and sauté garlic.
  3. Add cream and simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Stir in parmesan until smooth.
  5. Toss pasta with sauce and adjust consistency with pasta water.

Serve immediately for best creamy texture.
