Ingredients
  

Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce low sodium recommended
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger minced
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Method
 

  1. Whisk soy sauce, water, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  3. Whisk cornstarch with water and stir into sauce.
  4. Cook until thickened and glossy.

Notes

Sauce thickens as it cools; thin with water if needed.
